What is music without

Music requires Sounds, notes, rhythm, great voice, good lyrics etc etc.

But it would still be incomplete without SILENCE.

Music to me is an interaction of sounds with silence in different permutations, and sometimes the silence between 2 notes can accentuate the music to an ethereal experience.

Sun an amazing invention of God

What a creation,

It can melt butter but harden clay.... The same sun does both.....

Just proves a point, Life is as we think, so think beautifully...

New dimension to Krishna' Teachings..

KARMANYEVA ADHIKARASTHE MAAPHALESHU KADACHANA
for ppl who don't understand sanskrit it means your only authority is on your actions the results should not be your concern

Krishna said this in his Gita discourse on the battle field to a distraught Arjuna, unwilling to fight against his relatives and elders.

Here what is clear are the variables rest everything is dictatorial. The different variables in these words are - Karma or action and Phala or result.

Now story mein twist.

Let us understand the above variables with respect to 2 situations.
  1. If Karma and Phala are considered to be the equivalent variables of KAALA (Period (tense)- not time) then Karma will be present tense and Phala will be Future tense, if you re construct Krishna's words, then what he would be saying is You have authority only on today and now, whatever you want to do, do it, Phala or tomorrow is not in your hands. Raises many questions doesn't it? do we have the right priorities for today if I don't have authority? Depressing or Freeing? Half full or Half empty?
  2. Now consider Karma and Phala to be the equivalent variables of Life and After life: Karma or Life or the period when you are living has been given to you and you alone, and enjoy it asyou wish to. Don't depend on the afterlife, Now this is liberating for me, if there is no afterlife, then there are no Hell and Heaven, I can create either one right here in my life. This for me is more liberating, Then the entire religious funda crashes, it is necessary for people who are not as enlightened (sic) as I am, but not for me,
Interesting thought aye?
Cheers ...

Want to be eterally happy? Go deep into.....

One day a poor wood cutter was coming back from the forest after a hard days work, He met a saint sitting below a tree.

The saint tells him " I see you work very hard, if you follow what I tell you you can earn enough for a month in a days work".

The wood cutter becomes happy and asks the saint what he has to do. The saint tells him to go deep into the forest tomorrow, and he can earn enough for a month in a day.

The next day the wood cutter follows the saints guidance and finds sandalwood trees and by selling them he does earn enough for a month.

When he returned to thank the saint - the saint tells him, if you want to earn enough for 6 months in a days work, then go even deeper tomorrow.

The wood cutter does as he was told and finds a silver mine, and he earns enough money for 6 months.

Again he goes back to the saint and he tells, tomorrow go still deeper and you can earn enough for a year in a days work.

To his surprise the wood cutter finds a gold mine deep in the forest unknown to anyone, and earns enough money for a year and goes to the saint to thank him for his guidance.

When going to the Saint a thought enters his mind "if the saint knew about the mines then why did he sit below the tree at the edge of the forest rather than being rich?

He puts forth his question to the saint and the saint tells, " Deep in the forest you may earn enough for your livelihood, but sitting here under this tree everyday I go deep into my soul and find  eternal happiness"

Then the wood cutter decides that he doesn't want money anymore and sits down before the saint to learn how to go deep into his soul to find eternal happyness

I have no reason why I published this story, I read it today and thought a lot of us need happiness more than money, so why don't we take this journey too?

Solution for all of World's Problems

Problems!

Who doesn't have them? I do, you do, every body does,

Being the idealist that I am, I wondered if all the problems can be solved by one answer, panacea for everything???

I believe there is, it is talking -  simple isnt it?

But you may argue, talking has caused so many problems for every one?

Yes you are right I should correct myself it is right talking. talking  - the lack or excess if it can be a problem but not right talking.

Its an awkward word like world peace but it actually has a lot of meaning and I have a simple way to follow it.

I use 4 gates before I talk.

1. Is it necessary
2. Is it true
3. What effect do I want it to have? will it have that effect?
4. How would i feel if im told the same.

According to my experience many things that I want to talk may not cross the third gate, and if it really crosses the 4th gate then I look like the MONK WHO SOLD HIS FERRARI to anyone whom I'am talking to.... bcos they are usually profound... kidding atleast intelligent...

It was extremely difficult the 1st month to cross the 1st gate - remember Dalai Lama's words, why waste your breath to speak when you can just nod.

I was silent as an Owl for the first month...

Try it, I feel better now, Most of my problems are under control, may be yours will be tooo.
